New Construction Homes For Sale in Effingham County, Georgia!

With only 2 months worth of housing inventory left, Builders are really cranking out the new homes! With the cost of lumber and concrete rising so are the builder prices. When builders start new communities you as a buyer have a great opportunity to get in at the lowest price. What does this truly mean for you the buyer? Well it means by the time the next wave of construction starts you have equity and right now that is happening while your home is being built. So you close knowing you have equity already! With interest rates being at an all time low in some cases as low as 2.25%, this means you the buyer are also able to afford more house than you could just 6 months ago! With the general housing market running so low on inventory considering new construction is a great option. You will get a brand new home with warranties and know that the major items in the home such as the roof, Heating and Air system, water heater, etc. are all brand new with full warranties! I know some people are holding off on selling their homes in the Savannah, Georgia and Effingham County, Georgia areas because there are not many homes to chose from…So the new construction option will allow you to go ahead and place your home on the market as you know in about 6 months time your new home will be ready to close. I suggest you contact your Realtor, preferably ME, and ask them to help discuss temporary housing options for when your current home sells and in this market it should sell rather quickly! So perhaps going ahead and placing it on the market now is not such a scary thing to do after all. Have a plan in place for temporary housing while your home is being built, get a new home with color selections and options of your choosing and potentially close on it with equity. Win Win!
